Dunfermline to Nottingham
Posted On 06/30/2009 14:38:38 by Rosko

We hit the beaten track at 0845 on a fine summer morning. Twisty roads and fine scenery through the Scottish Borders. Passing old battle fields and through some quaint old villages. Stopped for a Coffee and met up with some friends. Back on the road again and heading south through the English country side. Hit the Highway and met with some pretty heavy rain. A long ride but the weather cleared for a while. Many Bikers waving to us on their way north. The Harley was doing well and the music a blessing! A few more stops with a laugh and a joke. Arrived Nottinham 1715. 300 miles and sore but sure wanting a cold one! What more can anyone ask for? Riding, Friends, Beer and my wife to enjoy!
